🖐️ Hand Washing Procedure

Wet Your Hands

Wet your hands with running water as hot as you can comfortably stand.

🌡️ At least 100°F / 38°C

Apply Soap

Apply soap from the dispenser. Use enough soap to create a good lather across your entire hands and wrists.

Vigorously Scrub

Vigorously scrub hands and arms for at least 10–15 seconds. Clean thoroughly under fingernails and between fingers.

⏱️ At least 10–15 seconds of scrubbing

Rinse Thoroughly

Rinse thoroughly under running water. Make sure all soap is completely removed.

Dry Hands

Dry hands and arms with a single-use paper towel or warm-air hand dryer.

🪣 Use paper towel to turn off faucet
🚪 Use paper towel to open/close door
Wash hands: before starting work · after touching raw food · after using the restroom · after touching your face or hair · after handling garbage · when switching between tasks
